11th of January, 2011 - Clerith

Let me introduce everyone
to my newest coloured drawing
Clerith!

This time, my coloured drawing
Clerith is different from what
I usually do. The guy's hair
is deep sexy green
which I'll normally hate
but unfortunately I decided
to go with the colour
to create a contrast between
green and red.
Why green? because it's
complimentary to the colour red :3

The guy's eyes are sparkling yellow.
I wanted to make it gold in colour
but I didn't want it to make too gold
because then it wouldn't fit the whole picture.
The yellow eyes makes the skin
look more fairer
The combination of the eyebrow
just makes the whole expression sexy~
oh yeah~

I wanted to go with butler for this theme
but then when I tried out the colour
it doesn't really suit Clerith.
So I decided to go with
'Rich High School Student'

Here are the progression of Clerith:

This is the original drawing.

and then I start to colour the skin.
After that I actually left this picture
hanging since I was really busy
with college work and projects
so I didn't have the time
to complete Clerith.

If you look closely,
I made a slight change on
the mouth area and also
a little bit on the eyes.

Next I colour the hair, eyes,
vest and the tie.
Made lots of clicks here and there
to get it right.

So instead of colouring the whole thing,
I crop the picture to waist length XD
I know I'm evil
hahahahha!

Then next I find a suitable background
for Clerith, when I finally found it,
I did a few edits.

Then finally the touch-ups
and it's done! :D

Didn't really go anywhere today
and didn't really feel like doing anything.
I was getting really bored
and so I decided to finish up Clerith :D
It took me about 3 hours to complete him.
Hope you like him :3

I'm sure you still remember

Day by day
I'm at home
drawing almost all the time
and when I don't draw
it feels really weird XD
hahahahahahaha

ADA 101
Design Communication 1

All of my assignments are
related to drawing and colouring
when it comes to this subject.

This is my latest submission
but it was rejected
because the lecturer said
it needs more perspective (@w@)

A bowl of fruit :D
we were ordered to do a still life artwork
using mix media.
Apparently, I don't have much
practice on still life XD
which results the picture above
One of my friend said
"It looks FLAT"
I was like "aaahhh....."

I really need to do something about it
(=w=)

Then we have our final project!
Where we have to
at least sketch 12 famous interiors.
Then after that we have to pick one
that favours us and write and essay
about why we like it.

This is my 2nd attempt
on drawing a room/an interior.

The room was designed by
Elsie de Wolfe
one of the pioneers of interior design
and she is the first female interior designer
to have create "The House in Good Taste"
One of my favourite interior designer :3

If you see closely,
there are some minor flaws on the sketch.
Which is kind of embarrassing
but then I'm still a student (@w@)
and THIS IS my 2nd attempt after all.

I know I should be
sharing about my works
regarding previous posts.
Somehow the work was a FAIL
So I don't really want to talk about it
because I've spent a lot of time doing it
and knowing that it is a fail after doing
so much just breaks my heart
harharharhar

So if you haven't know
I've played quite a few
MMORPG games since
I was 14 years old.
Sadly I only have my Cabal Online
character picture with me
because the rest of the pictures
were destroyed by the previous viruses
...sobs...

This is the list of games I've played:
:Ran Online:
This is the old version
which I played around end of 2005
to end of 2006.
(yeah I had no life back then)

:Myrosso:
This is the new version of Ran Online
I did try it out and heck
it was just the same as the old one.
That was around end of 2006.

:Super Dance Online:
I played this around 2009
I first tried it out in my
best friend's house (Angelica)
and she got me influence XD
I only love the songs
and had no other intentions

:Fiesta Online:
This is just some random game
that I found in the internet.
I tried it early this year (2010)
and it was kinda boring although
I was starting to make a lot
of new friends already.

:Cabal Online:
This is the latest game I've played
which was in the middle of this year (2010)
My sweetheart got me influence in
playing this game.
Heck yeah I played it XD
But I quit during my final exams
last September.

11th of November, 2010 - New Head Picture + Bayonetta

So first of all
I think you have already noticed
the new humongous picture above
and also the change of songs
The picture was made when
I was playing around with my makeup
and at that moment
I feel like taking a lot of picture
of myself XD hahahahaha
But I didn't realize that
it suites to be the new 'big' picture

and about the new songs
well, it's just because I'm
falling in love with Bayonetta X3

Bayonetta is an XBox and PS3
game application
It's a really cool game
what attracts me the most
is the song! XD hahaha
which is on my song playlist
it's call 'Fly To The Moon'
if I'm not mistaken

and I have to say
the main character is hot!
Like seriously hot! I love her!
(my definition of hot is different for your information)

This assignment is under

and it is based on chapter 4

we had to do a business card.
The lecturer told us to
name our own company
and to do anything with it XD
I was like "yay!"
hahaha

I finish up the assignment
few minutes ago
and it took me about
4-5 hours to do it,
plus going to the toilet
and drinking water and
washing the dishes XD

4th of November, 2010 - HAPCHO Gathering + Birthday Celebration

+Best Photo Of The Day+
I didn't really know
what I was cosplaying as
but I just went with gothic XD

A lot of things happened on this day
and I mean A LOT

In the afternoon,
I was late to the HAPCHO gathering
(it's a cosplay group in my town)
because the petrol was dying
and I had to go to the petrol station
to fill in some.
Unconsciously,
I locked my car
WITH MY CAR KEY INSIDE!!!!
I was like "OH MA GAWD!!!"
and I tried calming down
and tried to figure out a way
to solve the problem.
Later then a guy went up to me
and said "Lock ka?"
and I nodded my head
and he tried unlocking my car
with this ruler-kind-of-thing
and tadaa! it was unlocked :D
I filled in the petrol
and said my thanks to the guy
and drove in high speed
to the gathering.
At that time I was already
1 hour late with the traffic jam
going on.

However, I still made it
to the gathering safe :D

It was my first time going to
the gathering actually XD
and it was my first time
wearing A LOT of makeup.
It was fun going :D

After the gathering,
I had to rush home
to go to my sweetheart's younger brother

birthday celebration
at their house.

I really enjoyed my time
during the celebration
because I get to meet with everyone
after a long time not meeting them
(my sweetheart's family and my best friends)

I have nothing to share with everyone today
since I'm trying to catch up with the
deadlines of my assignments.
Believe it or not I have to finish 5 assignments
by Friday and thank goodness I'm finished with one
and almost done with one and half done with another one.

However, I do appreciate your support
although I am not oh so much of a blogger.

Stats Are Going Downhill? Oh well...(shrugs)...

Based on the stats,
it looks like my page loads
are getting lesser by the day.
*shrugs* guess people are bored

But at least it's better than the last month.

23rd of October, 2010 - 4 Basic Elements Assignment + First Class of History & Theory of Architecture I

It's a Saturday today
and so we had our first class of
History & Theory of Architecture I
(ADA 123)

But first! Let me talk about
our assignment for our previous class,
which was Principle of Architecture & Design,
that we had to submit today.
In other words,
we were given only one day
for this assignment.

The assignment was about
combining all the 4 Basic Elements
and create a drawing.
I couldn't do the assignment when I got home
because I was exhausted and my mind
couldn't focus.
So I slept at around 8pm
and woke up at 2am.
It was enough sleep for me
since it's 6 hours and plus
I seriously had to work on
my assignment by then.

We were told to do it
on an A3 paper
and so this is what I had in mind

Here's a closer view:

For your information
I designed the interior myself.
Here's my sketch:

As you can see there are
decorations on the wall
and the floors are made from wood.
There's a stereo or music player
near the stairs.
But when I think again,
why the hell would I wanna put stairs
when it's just one step down???

This design is meant to be
something like Starbucks
mix with Secret Recipe.
It's supposed to be a comfy place
like Chili's or TGI Fridays

But I guess I'm not
professional enough
to actually design a room.
weeeeeeeeee (@_@)

So my (focal) point
is the kitchen door
and I only had
to stress on the 4 basic elements.
If I had more time
I would have done something
much better than this.

This photo is just to differentiate
the sketch and the actual work.

So we were given straight away
our artworks after Sir Raed marks
them because he didn't want to
bring them to KL with him XD
It's pretty understandable
if you ask me

I got a smiley face
for my artwork :D

Okay so moving to our next topic
which is the History & Theory of Architecture
where we learned about buildings that was built
thousands of years ago.

Here are some information
based solely on my notes
that I've written in my notebook,
along with my memory
and understanding of this chapter.
(don't be surprised if I'm wrong)

:Chapter 1:
Ancient Mesopotamia

This is the Sumerian building
most of their finest buildings
are related to religion.
This was the time when people
people worships the sun and moon
and all sorts of natural elements.
So this building refers to
the concept "higher buildings
will lead you closer to God"
In other words
they want to feel closer to God.
They used huge and wide platforms
to make the building higher.

This is the Akkadian building
where they realized
there is a need to build
walls around the city.
If you can see the building
on the left, it looks much higher
than the previous Sumerian building.
I guess they seriously
want to feel closer to God eh?
hahahahaha XD

This is the Neo-Sumerian building
which anyone can clearly see that
they've did some upgrades
which is making the building higher
and higher and higher.
If you haven't seen the scale,
I tell you now...it's a gigantic building
Honest!

This here is the Assyrian building
which is the birth of the courtyard building.
Courtyards are suitable for hot environment
such as Malaysia, Egypt and the Middle East.
Courtyard somehow makes the whole cool
because the wind circulates into the courtyard
pushing the hot air upwards
and letting the cool air stays underneath.
Surprisingly there aren't any
courtyards in Malaysia XD

This is the Babylonian building.
This was the first time where colours
were applied to create a building.
The people during this era got the colours
from a type of a (very) weird fish.
This fish can only be found deep down underwater
and it contains dark blue ink
when it is cut into half.
The people during this era also
uses animal figures as the building's pattern.

This is a Hittities building or rather the entrance.
This is where Symmetry and Asymmetry
are born, which is 3410 years ago.
Although both of the lion sculpture
are asymmetry, but the arrangements
of the rocks are symmetry.
Why aren't the lions symmetry?
It's because people from 3410 years ago
don't have rulers and measuring tape
like we do now XD hahahaha
but it's true, to them it's
really hard to do a symmetrical sculpture
because they don't have the right equipments yet.

This is an example of a Neo-Babylonian building.
It is one of the 7 wonders of the world.
It is the 'Hanging Garden'.
This concept is where every floor
has a garden and covered with
wonderful floras.
As you can see the people there,
it means it's a really huge building.

This here is the Persian building
where columns are born.
However, during this era,
people don't know what to put
on top of the column.
So they would just leave it empty
and instead they write stories around the column.
So you would be going around and around
the column if you want to read the story.
hahahahahahha XD

I would want to visit it
if I get the chance.
In fact, I would want to
visit all the places
that I've just mentioned!
And take a lot of pictures
and post it into my blog!
And write something about it!
Someday, if I have the chance.
