3rd of December, 2010 - My Mum's Doggies + Assignment [Balance]

[Happened few days ago]

Yeah we have a lot of dogs
waiting outside of the house
for my mum to give them some
chicken heads XD
This is only the ones in front
of our current house.
There's another group of dogs
waiting for my mum
at the new house
in our village.
So...we have about
more than 10 dogs now?
hahahahahahaha

I guess it can't be helped
since my mum likes to spoil
dogs by giving them chicken heads.
We also have cats in our house :D
4 cats and 4 kittens XD
The kittens are so so so cute!!!
I don't want to give them away!

Aside from that
I spent the whole night
finishing my assignment
regarding 'Balance'

When it comes to design,
Balances means visual weight equilibrium.
Like how much value you should put
to make the drawing or design
balance in a manner.
Sorry but it's really hard
to find good and suitable pictures
to explain about Balance.
So I'll just leave it
to you guys to
do the searching.

Design Communication 1

This is my work:
Assignment = Abstract + Balance

It's better than what I expected
because I thought that I want to
do this thing all over again
but then I looked back at this drawing
and thought that it's really nice
and that I want to put
some colours on it.
And tadaa~! :D

I used water colours,
poster colours, ballpen, and a 6B pencil
Sketches took about 4-6 hours
and colouring took about 3-4 hours
then the finishing touch
took about 2-3 hours.

This is what will happen
if I solely and wholly use
the dining table to do my assignment.
My mum said it's better if I take
this table to my room at the new house
since I really need a big table
to do my assignments.
And usually I don't
really tidy up the table XD
hahahahahha

Design Communication 1

So again, I spent 8 hours or more
to do my Design Com assignment.
Which means I just finished
2 assignments in 1 day!
woohoo!!!

So here's the assignment
We had to draw our college
a.k.a. Cosmopoint I.C.T. Kota Kinabalu

Here's the original picture
and as you can see
it doesn't really match
because frankly I'm not good
in drawing buildings (>w>)
which is really a weakness of mine
but I still try :D and try :D

I did mentioned about the drawing
that was a fail in my previous post
and yeah I was so frustrated
at that moment.
But in the end
I MADE IT!!!
WOHOO!

So again nothing much
except that I did my assignments
the whole day.
Anyhow,

and I don't really want to talk about it

+The Dining Table in My House+

So the whole day and night
I've been working on my assignment
based on 'Green World'
My idea of Green World
is the environment-friendly swimming pool
which looks like a fish-pond
at first glance.
The green technology swimming pool
uses gravel to be mixed with clay
as a concrete for the swimming pool.
The designer adds water crop
inside and outside of the pool
to filter water waste
and to make water rich in oxygen.
One even said "You can just drink the water
from that green technology swimming pool"
because they proclaimed that it's clean.

Here's a closer view of my assignment
It's not really finish yet actually XD
I still need to darken the lines
and do some hatching and stuff.

There's another method
besides using water crops.
Which is adding a pack of salt
into the swimming pool.
Salt will then be mixed with chlorine
(a typical swimming pool will usually have chlorine in it)
and it will become sodium-chloride (NaCl)
which kills bacteria developing
in the swimming pool.
Curiosity and anxiety has lead
people to think that this method
will make the swimming pool's water
taste like the ocean (salty).
However, the creator of this method
said that the answer is "No"
Adding "There's only a slight taste of salt
because there's roughly a teaspoon of salt
per gallon of water".
Besides that, sodium-chloride
is much gentler on the hair, skin and eyes
which makes swimming fun :D

If you've been wondering why
I'm using my dining table
instead of my own table in my room.
Well, it's because
the table in my room
is freaking SMALL!!!!
Not small,
just medium-small XD

Today's English - Part of Speech & English Tenses

So today I'll be sharing about
part of speech and English tenses
However, on English tenses,
I'll only share about
simple present tense,
simple past tense,
and simple future tense.

As you all know and should know
today's English is related to my assignment

but since I was told that it was only

24th of September, 2010 - English + Drawing ???

Sooo
First subject was
Reading, Vocabulary & Grammar 2
In short, English level 2.
It was Miss Freda's class
and when she came into the class
and starts speaking
I was like "Oh Thank You God"
because finally there's a qualified
English teacher to teach English in the college.
I'm not saying that other English teachers aren't qualified
I'm just saying that it's a relief to
actually hear a proper English lecture
rather than a Manglish lecture (Malay + English)

So we were told
to do some research about
part of speech
simple past tense
simple present tense
future tense
and make our own blog
but since I already have my own blog
so I don't need to worry! Hurray!
I know making a blog will be useful somehow!
muahahahahahahahhaha
but then now it means that
I'll have to blog everyday
(@_@) Oh my...I hope I'll be able to..
My college friends came to me
and said "Can you teach us how to make a blog?"
I was like "....huh?"
hahahahhahahaha
the earliest person to ask me was
Max Bewsher
an Architect student
We knew each other since primary school XD
At first I was wondering why he wanted me to help
After attending Miss Freda's class, only when I know why
Maybe I should make a blog tutorial eh?
hahaha we'll see

Next was Sir Kennedy's class
Design Communication 1
To put it in a simpler way,
Drawing/Sketching level 1.
He talked most of the time
and his stories were surprisingly interesting
I guess it's because it comes from his experience.
We were briefly told about the subject
and what we will be doing in the future.
So....he told us to get ready a set of pencils,
butter paper & drawing board.

So I guess that's what a butter paper looks like
It looks more like a toilet paper when you
look at my point of view hahahaha
I guess Chefs normally use this
for baking and stuff
..interesting..

When I came back home
I was like really exhausted
and I haven't take any rest until now
since I was busy washing the clothes
(because my dad went to China but he's coming back today)
doing some research for my assignments
and also updating my blog (@_@)
and and and discussing with my best friends
on this coming Sunday event
Yeap....Sunday....oh yeah..

I need to finish up my assignments
and the preparation for Sir Kennedy's class
fast or I'll be doomed
