13th of December, 2010 - An Art in The Church

So it's a Monday
Hmmmm......
I don't really like Mondays
but sometimes I love Mondays :D
hahahahahhaa

So today I'll be talking a little bit
about art that I just realized
and this art is really magnificent DX

The art can be seen in the
Sacred Heart Cathedral or
Sacred Heart Church
in Kota Kinabalu.

It is the church that I normally go
every Sunday morning
either with my family or with my besties
or with my sweetheart.

I've actually seen this art my whole life
like since primary school
and only now I realize the beauty in it

When you look at it closely
you can see that this art doesn't use
any paint or colours.
Instead, they use coloured tiles.
My best friend Angel told me about it
Believe me, this is really difficult to make
because they have to arrange the tiles
in a manner to create the image of Jesus.
Behind the figure of Jesus is the
famous Mount Kinabalu XD

It's really beautiful
I would just look at it and
admire it every time I go to church.

Dresses

I'm beginning to want
to wear dresses
and it feels
...weird...
but satisfying :D

I'm always known to
be one of those tomboys
who hangs out with guys
instead of girls
and who has a boy complex.
Hitting guys, arm wrestling,
guy 'talk' and such.
But now,
I don't do those things anymore.
It seems that
I'm more interested in arts
if you know what I mean.
I guess that's what it means by
'people change'

But I know one thing
that hasn't changed
MAKEUP
I still don't really like
wearing makeup.
Having it once in a while
like during a dinner party
is fine but NOT EVERY DAY
If you've read last years post
I mentioned about make up
and why it is bad.
Go ahead and read it :3

So now the feeling of wanting
to wear a dress is
starting to grow and grow
and coming much more often
to me
I would be like
"I want to wear a dress to college"
my mum was like
"Up to you"
Translation : "Just wear it if you want"
hahahaha

My sister bought me
two dresses
one purple and one white
So now I have black, purple, white dresses
hahahaha

Okay here's the story
I woke up at about 5.30 in the morning.
I went to toilet and immediately
I switch on my laptop.
At that time I was having the mood
to colour something.
So I look through some black and white drawings
that I've saved in my laptop.
After seeing all of it,
I decided to pick this one!

This is the original drawing
drawn by I don't even know who
I remember taking it from DeviantArt
but I forgot who draw it XD
this drawing originated from a short comic.
All I did was crop it (>w<) haha Then I used photoshop CS3 to colour it. It took me about 3-4 hours to finish the whole thing. But the thing is I enjoyed colouring it XD hahahahaha Thank You For Visiting!
