I watched THE ACT OF VALOUR
this evening since the trailer
is quite impressive.
However, only the first half
is enjoyable, after the second half
the movie starts to be a bit boring.
What I can see is the flaw to it is
it is HARD to see who and where the
main character was.
Overall I'd give it a 7 to 10
because of it's strategies during their rescue.

After the movie, I saw this one big
poster just outside of the cinema hall
(it doesn't really look like the poster below though)
I was like:
STALLONE???!! OH MA GAWD!!
STATHAM???!! OH MA GAWD!!
NORRIS???!! OH MA GAWD!!
WILIS???!! OH MA GAWD!!
JET LI???!! OH MA GAWD!!
SCHWARZENEGGER???!! OH MA GAWD!!
VAN DAMME???!! OH MA GAWD!!
THIS MOVIE CAN'T BE REAL!!!!

I wasn't really familiar
with the other actors though
But then it's Expendables 2
I was wondering why didn't I notice
the first one - Expendables
. .bleh. .I guess I'll watch it later

is THE AVENGERS
it will be out in March.

Me: God, can I ask You a question?

God: Sure

Me: Promise You won't get mad

God: I promise

Me: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?

God: What do u mean?

Me: Well, I woke up late

God: Yes

Me: My car took forever to start

God: Okay

Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait

God: Huummm

Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call

God: All right

Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?

God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one
of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that

Me (humbled): OH

GOD: I didn't let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Me: (ashamed)

God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn't want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn't afford to miss work.

Me (embarrassed):Okay

God: Your phone went dead bcuz the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn't even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Me (softly): I see God

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn't think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me: I'm Sorry God

God: Don't be sorry, just learn to Trust Me.... in All things , the Good & the bad.

Me: I will trust You.

God: And don't doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.

Me: I won't God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.

God: You're welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children...

God : Hello. Did you call me?

Me: Called you? No.. Who is this?

God : This is GOD. I heard your prayers. So I thought I will chat.

Me: I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in the midst of something.

God : What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.

Me: Don’t know. But I cant find free time. Life has become hectic. It’s rush hour all the time.

God : Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumes time. Productivity frees it.

Me: I understand. But I still can’t figure out. By the way, I was not expecting YOU to buzz me on instant messaging chat.

God : Well I wanted to resolve your! Fight for time, by giving you some clarity. In this net era, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are comfortable with.

Me: Tell me, why has life become complicated now?

God : Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.

Me: why are we then constantly unhappy?

God : Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday.You are worrying because you are analyzing. Worrying has become your habit. That’s why you are not happy.

Me: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?

God : Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.

Me: But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty.

God : Pain is inevitable able, but suffering is optional.

Me: If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?

God : Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don’t suffer. With that experience their life become better not bitter.

Me: You mean to say such experience is useful?

God : Yes. In every terms, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.

Me: But still, why should we go through such tests? Why cant we be free from problems?

God : Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to) Enhance Mental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you! Are free from problems.

Me: Frankly in the midst of so many problems, we don’t know where we are heading..

God : If you look outside you will not know where you are heading.Look inside. Looking outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides insight.

Me: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right direction. What should I do?

God : Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.

Me: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

God : Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

Me: What surprises you about people?

God : when they suffer they ask, “why me?” When they prosper, they never ask “Why me” Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to be on the side of the truth.

Me: Sometimes I ask, who am I, why am I here. I cant get the answer.

God : Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but a process of creation.

Me: How can I get the best out of life?

God : Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.

Me: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

God : There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.

Me: Thank you for this wonderful chat.

God : Well. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Don’t believe your doubts and doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.

I just got my Tank that I bought
from the LBC online store
and I received it last Monday
from my brother because Kaey
is a friend of my brother.
I know Kaey too actually XD
same goes to him as well.

Last Bloodline Clothing
has been living since 2009 until now,
It's a local group designed by locals.
I still remember back then when
it was just a small organization
meant only for among themselves.
I saw my brother designing
some of the clothes back then
and he made some of them as well.
He's always busy with his stuff
like his band, Befalls The Argosy.
Up until now my brother
has been the Guitarist
and he does the editing to their songs.
Same goes to my eldest brother,
he's also in a band only that
it's in Kuala Lumpur.

I bought it with my Ang Pao money
that my father gave me.
When I got the money,
I thought to myself that maybe
I should buy something from LBC.
So I browse their Online Store in Facebook
and found this cute and cool tank top.
I bought the shirt because of its design.

I must say its design is pretty unique
and I'm sure they took a lot of time
designing for the tank.
Most of all, I really adore to have it :)

31st of January, 2012 - Gunter's Gasthaus

It was my mother's birthday
and we celebrated it at the Gunter's
My mother insisted to go to that
German restaurant because of its
big and meaty sausages.


A one nice and fine lady owns the place
her name is Samantha Gunter Rixen
and she is the manager there.
She said she has been doing the
restaurant thing for about 8 years now.
She also said that before the restaurant,
she used to travel around the world
and she used to work as a
Prison Counselor.
Our jaw dropped when we heard it
and it is really admirable of what
she has done to the restaurant
because she told us
"When I do my work here,
I give it my all"
and people come back for that.


They also have a cat name Otti
and it was the only cat there.
Of course, it belongs to Samantha
and she told us that the cat would
follow her wherever she go.
During early mornings, she said
the cat would wake her up
because normally she had to prepare
everything at 5am.

She told us she used to have 12 cats
but she had to give them away
because they were tearing down
her restaurant XD hahaha
Then my sister said to my mother
"Mum, why don't you tell her how
many cats you have" with a smile
and my mother said
"Right now, we have 20 cats" haha
All of us laughed.
Surprisingly I didn't know
we already have 20 cats.


All in all, we really had a nice time there.
We brought the cake and gifts for my mother.
Although she said there's no need to
buy her gifts, but it was too late XD
because we already bought the gifts
before she could say no.

My sister brought her
'new toy' which was the
Nikon1 V1 VR10-30mm
f/3.5-5.6
It's true that it's small and yet light.
I can see why she really likes it.
My brother and I had the chance to
play with it as well.

We'll be celebrating my mother's birthday
this Tuesday at this restaurant that
my mother wanted to go.
When my sister was informed this
by my mother, she immediately called
my brothers and I to say that
we MUST get her gifts to be
presented on that day.
I guess you could say that my
sister is just being excited about it.

Yesh yesh I know
I should have blogged about this
before I blog about the
'Happy Chinese New Year' blog post
Yesh~ Another year has pass
and everyone is always looking
forward to each New Year.

On January 2010 & 2011,
I blogged about the same title.
Saying stuff like I want to be stronger
and I want to be productive.
Then it made me thinking
of what will the new resolution
for this year be?
It's 2012 this year and I'm sure everyone's
hoping that they'll survived through the
ULTIMATE DEVASTATING SUPER DUPER
OMEGA ALPHA SUPREME CATASTROPHE
THAT EVERYONE HAVE BEEN PANIC
ABOUT FOR YEARS AND YEARS



Guess what? :D
I'm pretty much sure everyone
wants the best for every New Year.
So for MY NEW YEAR RESOLUTION
I will expect nothing but the worst!
That's right! :D the opposite of what
everyone wishes for.
The word "WHY" is ringing in
your head, is it not?

Then allow me to explain :3
When a person hopes for the best
of something especially for new years.
Sometimes THAT expectation is too high
for your body and mind to cope
that it slowly eats deep down inside you.
Like how a sponge absorbs liquid,
same goes to how your brain absorbs
that resolution of yours.
However, if things didn't
turn out the way as you expect
it to be EVEN THOUGH you
have planned everything so
'perfectly' in order to reach your 'resolution',
then you will be depress,
you'll be so sad and grumpy
and start to say mean things
to everyone and do mean things
and OH HECK I WONDER WHAT
ELSE WILL A PERSON DO?
And you're only excuse is
"it's my period" <---for girls though

HOWEVER!

If you turn your resolution around
and wish for the worst also
to expect only the worst of the worst.
Then, I'm sure you'll be able to
calm that brain of yours for once.

Allow me to give an example:

The scenario will be a girl who
will be transferring to a new school
starting January. So she applies
the new year resolution as being
THE WORST YEAR EVER.
Let's say that this girl is going to
face the most important exam
of her whole life,
the girl will be imagining stuff like
she's definitely going to fail
although she studies.
But she has a dream...
a dream of becoming a doctor.
So if she's going to expect the worst
for the year, it's common sense
that the brain will tell you to be
prepared to face anything for the year!
And to be prepared for the worst of the worst
Then if you're brain has
develop well after having some serious thoughts,
you'll go to a stage where you'll be thinking
of what will you be doing
if the worst of the worst turns out to be true.
To be precise,
short-term future planning.

Imagine that this year
you definitely will be rape by some
stupid rapist in town.

First,
you'll be panic and afraid.

Second,
you'll take precaution actions.

Third,
you'll need to be mentally
and physically prepared.

Fourth,
you'll be expecting the rapist
anytime, any day, anywhere.

Fifth,
depends on how you take things seriously,
you'll be able to overcome and prevent
the event from occurring.

Sixth,
you'll unconsciously feel proud.

Same applies if you're
afraid of death
----------------

But I must say this,
the results may not be the same
for everyone because
everyone is different and
everyone has a different life path
like how everyone has
a different thumb print.

such resolution,
