25th of January, 2012 - Current Favourite Games

Currently I'm playing
Persona 3: FES - The Journey
I just started recently
and I never knew it was a galge game.
Furthermore, there's a female version to it
which makes it an otome game too.
We've had the game for a long time now
and I never bothered to play it
or even briefly know what it is.
(because at that time,
everyone was talking about it)

It's a cool game about
Tartarus, the Dark Hour and Persona(s)
What I love about the game
is its main concept.
It's very admirable and it's no doubt
that most gamers enjoy it.
The characters are well made
as well as the story.
Not forgetting THE MUSIC!
Oh goodness, anyone could
fall in love with the music background XD

-------------

Did I mentioned that I'm also
into playing Gundam recently?
Gundam games such as
Gundam vs Gundam NEXT
But I heard there's a new
Gundam game which has
just recently been released
on the 1st of December, 2011
It's call Extreme vs Gundam
and I heard it's much challenging
than the previous games.
However, it's only available for PS3 console.
The good thing about it is
you get to play online
teaming up with other players worldwide.
They also set rankings
and I heard that the highest ranking
is a FEMALE!
Her username is kami0114
and she beats the history worldwide ranking!
I REALLY ADORE HER!!

-------------

Aside from that,
there's this free otome game
which I found online while I was browsing.
It's RE: Alistair+++
However, it's a very basic one.
and it didn't really take me long
to get to the ending.
I heard it was created by
a member from DeviantArt.
If it's created by an amateur
then the person is very creative XD
I can't really tell much about the game
because since it's free,
I'd want you to try it out for yourself.

-------------

Hmmmm....
Besides everything that I've mentioned.
My current favourite song is
きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ - PONPONPON
(Click the link)
Trust me, it's annoyingly very addictive.
And the video is just UNIQUE.
I love the dance to it :3
and the singer is also cute!
Haha~

24th of January, 2012 - My Opinion of The Future

Today, I was thinking about
'what would the future be like?'
Of course the future will never be known
until we get there...and eventually we will

I've seen a lot of movies about the future
anime and manga also are included.
Stories about how the technology would
reach its limit and how people
use it for the wrong reason.
Stories about an alien invasion
which I don't really think is what
the future will be.
Stories about the Mayan calender.
Stories about androids invading the world.
Stories about how the world will end
and how there will be no future.
So on...and so fort.

People can say anything
about what lies ahead of us.

In my opinion,
one of the many factors that
I think might occur not long
after today (maybe after a few years)
is that everyone will be wearing glasses.
Computers will no longer be in use
because of a newly and famous
created spectacles.
This kind of spectacles could
make any flat surface as your
desktop computer.
A super tiny camera
along with a super tiny
projector will be install
in the spectacles.
Your fingers would be
the what is call the 'mouse'
of the computer.
This would really ease everyone's
work, studies, etc etc

The spectacles has various
function, such as:
1. Computer
2. Music player
(with an earphone plug into your ear)
3. Camera
4. Human health maintenance
(telling you about your health condition)
5. Cellphone
6. Hologram projector
7. Game console
8. A greater memory than 1 terra-byte
9. Scanner
10. Smoke sensor-scanner

Reading this blog post
might make you think
that this is impossible to be done.
Of course it's impossible
for it to be done in today's technology silly XD
This is because we lack of the needed
technology, materials and elements
to create such spectacles.

But who knows?

I haven't read or heard
about this idea before.
It would be awesome if I was
the one who would create such thing XD
but then again it's not really
my specialty or interest.
So I'm just going to leave to
the scientists to figure it out.

23rd of January, 2012

Firecrackers are burning everywhere
around my neighbourhood.
Especially during midnight
because Chinese around the globe
are celebrating Chinese New Year today.
An old saying is said that firecrackers
are burn during the Chinese New Year
to scare away evil spirits which
comes to the villages.

This year is the year of the Dragon.
It is known that Dragon are the most
powerful creature among the other
Chinese zodiac animals.
This saying is shown
in yesterday's newspaper
but I didn't really pay attention about
the details.

It's my semester break right now.
Of course, it's because of
Chinese New Year.
So I would like to take this
opportunity to wish every
Chinese in the globe
and also everyone a
Happy Chinese New Year!
May the year be prosperous
to everyone :)

25th of December, 2011 - Christ's Mass

Today is a very special day in
the Christian Calender
because this day is a day to remember
where Christ was born through Mary,
and his mission on Earth was to
save us all - Christians and Non-Christians alike

------------------
The Paradox Of Christmas
Above is a link to a video
just to remind everyone what Christmas actually is
-------------------

However,
some people are looking forward more
to Santa Claus than to Jesus Christ.
I'm sure some of us are even confused
whether Santa Claus is Jesus Christ or not.
Well today I'd like to share to everyone
that Santa Claus and Jesus Christ
ARE NOT of the same person.

So who is Santa Claus?
The true story of Santa Claus
begins with Nicholas,
who was born during the third century
in the village of Patara.
At the time the area was Greek
and is now on the southern coast of Turkey.
His wealthy parents,
who raised him to be a devout Christian,
died in an epidemic while Nicholas was still young.
Obeying Jesus' words to
"sell what you own and give the money to the poor,"
Nicholas used his whole inheritance
to assist the needy, the sick, and the suffering.
He dedicated his life to serving God
and was made Bishop of Myra
while still a young man.
Bishop Nicholas became known
throughout the land for his generosity
to the those in need,
his love for children,
and his concern for sailors and ships.
Now he is known to be Saint Nicholas.

Here is a video link about
Jesus & Santa

Jesus Christ ,on the other hand,
is known to be the Son of God who
was born through a Virgin, named Mary,
and he came to suffer and died for us
in order to path a way to his Kingdom
which God has promised us
during King David's time.
I'm sure his story is being made well-known
throughout the world
especially those among Christians.

---------------------------------------
Aside from that I wish everyone
Merry Christmas

13rd of November, 2011 - COLOURS

It's the month of November
and today I feel like writing a post x:
Haven't been watching much
anime lately since I'm too caught up
with college and assignments

What interest me lately
are COLOURS
whether or not it applies
to an interior of a room
or an outfit of a person
I just like to add in some
colours in it
Royal blue, Oceanic blue,
bright sparkling pink,
light bold yellow,
(they are my favourites)
and all the bold colours
which just bring life to everything.

Using royal blue to a room
and to an outfit, both brings
different...how do you say...energy?
It's like if I wear something royal blue
my clothing just voice out
'Attention! Independent woman coming through!'
or if a person wear some sparkling pink
it would say 'See how brave and sexy I am today'
Whereas for an interior of a room
using royal blue could bring out
the seriousness of a person or maybe
it just gives inspiration
(depending on an individual)
and if it's a sparkling pink room
(just nice the colour in used)
it just opens up your eyes
to see the whole room haha~
Although I do still prefer
balanced in colour~
with a little of dark green here
and a light beige over there
then maybe the door frame would be
a coffee colour...eh? haha~

That's All For Today!
Enjoy The Wonders Of The COLOURS !

11th of October, 2011 - Bombastic Words

It's a Tuesday today
and tomorrow I'll be having
an English Presentation regarding
bombastic words~

What are bombastic words?
They are words which are rare to find
and sometimes hard to pronounce.
They are words which are most favored
(and it's a must for them to know)
by those who specializes in English.
In other words,
bombastic words are words
which makes a person go "WOW!"

The words that I've picked
are as shown below:

1. Abdicate
It means to give up,
for example power, as of
monarchs and emperors,
or duties and obligations.

Example of sentences:

1. The king abdicated the throne
in favor of his son.
2. He abdicated all responsibility
for the work to his elder son.

2. Ingratiate
It means to get on the good
side of someone

Example of sentences:

1. Belinda quickly sought to ingratiate
herself with the new administration.
2. She will soon ingratiate herself
with you, forming a strong and lasting bond.

3. Exodus
It means a departure of a
large number of people

Example of sentences:

1. On our second day we joined
the daily exodus along the coast.
2. Experts predict an exodus of millions from
low-lying countries like Bangladesh if
sea levels rise by just three feet

4. Mercenary
It means acting solely from a
consideration of reward
or profit
Another meaning to it
is hired for service in
a foreign army

Example of sentences:

1. A little bird told me that Hanna
has mercenary motives in marrying Jacob.
2. Mercenary army could face down a larger,
more warlike, but poorer country.

5. Innocuous
It means having no adverse
effect; harmless

Example of sentences:

1. That old man made an innocuous
remark of Orlando, but it enraged him.
2. He disagrees with Douglas because the 1st foul looked
innocuous and the second barely worth a booking

7th of October, 2011 - How to Improve Your English Proficiency?

Of course if you search in your browser
you would find many ways to improve your
English proficiency
I believe I've spoken about this
somewhere in my posts
about improving English.
Nevertheless, I still have to do this
since it's one of my English assignment.

We all know that English is one of the
most widely spoken languages in the world.
Furthermore, jobs can be earned,
relationships can be forged
and barriers can be broken
via the usage of the English language.

Here are the list of many ways
to improve one's English advancement:

1. Always have a dictionary
It doesn't matter if it's an actual
dictionary book or an online dictionary
or even a built-in-phone dictionary,
just have a dictionary with you
at all times because you will
never know when you will need it.
For example, when you're reading a newspaper
or reading a novel or reading
an article online - there must be 1 word
which you are not familiar with
and that is when you need a dictionary
to check out the meaning of the word
in order to understand the sentence.
I've been practicing this since form 1
in secondary school and I can guarantee you
it works effectively!
If you're shy then it's your loss.
It's now or never

2. Always communicate in English
This is a MUST!
In order to master in a certain language
one must speak in the language
every now and then.
Speak with your classmates,
friends, teachers, lecturers,
or even a stranger in English.
Asking the salesgirl in the store
about the product's price in English
is good enough for a start :D
For example,
"How much is this?"
"Can I please get a lower price?"
"Do you offer printing service?"
As simple as that.

Communicating in English
doesn't really mean SPEAKING
in English ONLY.
You can also chat online,
in English of course.
Although most of us use short
and simplified words
when chatting online,
but it builds up confident
in a person to communicate
in English.
It is encourage for students
to communicate people in overseas
so that you could adapt
to the language more easily.
I mostly chat online
with my American friends
most of the time.
Of course, this works as well.

3. Online Learning
When learning online, it depends
which website you're looking at.
I recommend LearnRealEnglish
because it's free and they even
send you an audio teaching scheme
and the 7 days email thing
where they would tell you
the Do's and Don'ts when wanting
to improve your English effectively.
I get to know this website
when I was in form 5 in secondary school
and I'd listen to all of the audios
the day before my SPM English Paper.
I still listen to it every now and then
to polish my English.

4. English Classes
None of us ever realize that
English classes are important
because without the classes
we wouldn't know where to start.
English classes teaches the basics
of English and it's up to each
individual to learn English outside
of the English class.
So a good advice is
always pay attention in English class
if you are determine to improve
your English :3

5. Watch English movies/TV programs
It is so true that by watching English movies
or even TV programs could improve
a person's English language
because by doing so,
it actually trains our brain
to be able to catch the English words
in order to understand what the person
in the movie or program is actually saying.
Avoid looking at the subtitle at all means!
If you could, switch off the subtitle mode
and listen very carefully at
what they are talking about.
In time, you will notice that you improved
when someone ask you
"what is he trying to say? I can't understand"
Get it? :D

6. Read English novels or articles
This is a good practice
because this is when you will need
your secret weapon!
THE DICTIONARY~!
Novel will surely contain
lots and lots of unfamiliar words
(unless you are always reading them)
As for me I always train myself
by reading a whole lots of articles.
Two reasons - to gain knowledge
also to improve my English

7. Play Games which are in English
It's the same as watching movies or TV
only that you would have to read
the stories in the game.
I think it's best to play games
which have stories in it such as
Final Fantasy games.
Each and every of the Final Fantasy games
has their own respective story,
which makes it very interesting.
If you're going to play FIFA games
then all you will see is
start, play single match,
you've won the match,
quit game, etc.,
which of course you wouldn't
learn anything.

8. Listen to English musics
By listening English musics, you're
actually training your ears to hear
what the singer is trying to say.
Try to listen to a rap song
to challenge yourself
and see if you could understand
90% of what the person is trying to sing about.
It's a good practice :)
Aside from that you could also sing
along with the song.
However, some songs have grammar errors
so it's advisable not to follow
100% of the language used
when writing an essay.

9. Paste English quotes in your room
This is fun to do when you want to decorate
certain part of your if.
Go ahead and paste the quotes
which you love the most.
Not only you would improve
your English unconsciously,
you would be able to bring up the mood
in a room rather than having a
plain wall.

10. Do 1 to 9 for a period of time
By following the list
I'm sure you'll master your English
in no time :)

Me? Oh I'm already doing it
by posting my blog in English
All the time~

LOVE LANGUAGE
by Eddie & Jason Lee

Today for English class
Miss Freda showed us a video
about how a boy meets a girl and falls in love.
Click the title to watch the youtube video

Q: What do you feel after watching the video?
~Miss Freda Jane

I feel like I'm watching one of the ways
of how love can be developed or
how love comes in many different ways.
However, when watching the video,
I felt somehow nostalgic about it
because it reminds me about
my high school life.
During my high school life,
my friends and I used to communicate
by writing down on a piece of paper
whenever the teacher is teaching.
Of course, the teacher never notices it
since we weren't making any noise.
So watching how the couple
exchange paper notes
towards one another isn't
really new to me but still
it's genuinely sweet :)

Aside from that I really love the setting.
What I meant is the background
of the video; a really cozy and nice looking
bench with a tree beside it.
Compliments to the editing as well.
The plot is good too because
I never would have thought
that the girl is actually deaf
since she has the earphone stuck into
her ear all the time.
Of course, most of the students in
the class must have thought that
she couldn't hear the guy because
she's listening to her music,
even I did.
