So for this chapter,
we had to do a business card.
The lecturer told us to
name our own company
and to do anything with it XD
I was like "yay!"
hahaha

I finish up the assignment
few minutes ago
and it took me about
4-5 hours to do it,
plus going to the toilet
and drinking water and
washing the dishes XD

22nd of October, 2010 - Green World Work II + 2 New Classes

Cosmopoint International College of Technology,
Wisma Times, Inanam, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah

So first I'll be talking about
our 2 new (but actually was delayed) classes.
There are:

ADA 103
Principle of Architecture & Design
on Fridays at 9am-11am

ADA 123
History & Theory of Architecture I
on Saturdays at 9am-11am

Everyone (in my field)
was making a fuss on this classes
especially the one that's on Saturdays.
I didn't really care about their complains
because I have no problems having classes
on Saturdays since I'm used to it
since my former secondary student life routine
was much more hectic than this.
I guess there's an advantage for me there XD

and Yay!
now we have 5 classes instead of
3 classes with 2 classes delayed XD
Both of the classes are taught by
Sir Raed M. A. Elottol
who is a lecturer from KLMU
and he originated from Palestine.
He told us that he is still
looking for qualified local lecturers
to teach us this subjects.
From his explanation,
it seems that he's pretty strict
with the interview and said it was
tough to find local lecturers that could teach us.
...sigh...it's so sad for us...
but I love the way he teaches us :D
it's really affective and easy to understand
although some of them
we sort of already learned them
in Visual Communication in Design
and we have no idea why we're taking
these two subject that talks about
almost the same thing.
But I guess it's to strengthen
our knowledge on that particular content
so that we're able to use it in the later future
*shrugs*

I don't really mind coming to these classes
since it's really interesting
and I do it for my GPA pointer :D

So for our first class of
Principle of Architecture & Design class
we learned about the basic things
in Architecture & Design
Which is the Rules of Architecture
and the 4 Basic Elements

Rules of Architecture
can go up to 1000 rules or more.
But for our class, our lecturer
gave us 5 rules to memorize.

:1st Rule:
Nothing is beautiful
and not beautiful

:2nd Rule:
Points must attract

:3rd Rule:
Entrance must be different

:4th Rule:
Design must reflect function

:5th Rule:
Designers must consider
the visual weight of the object

Sorry but no explanation
for this because I think
I'm violating the rights of sharing this info.
How I wish I'm being paid for this.

So the 4 Basic Elements
What are they?

1. Point
-It marks a position in space
-Small object can be seen as a point
-It needs some dimension
to attract attention

2. Line
-It extends a point
or others/edges in one

3. Plane
-Extension of one or more line

4. Volume
-It is a 3D extension of a 2D plane

Then bla bla bla
laughed here and there
was amazed by the presentation
bla bla bla we exchanged our emails
with Sir Raed and bla bla
end of class XD

Next class was
ADA 101
Design Communication 1
We had a 3 hours break
so I used that time to finish up
my Green World assignment
but it wasn't finish even after
30 minutes of class.
When it was finally done,
I was like "Wohoo!"
with both hands raised high :D

So this is the result:

I was kind of surprised
when I took a photo of this artwork of mine
with my camera, because I just LOVE
the water effects!
(which I made solely with poster colour)

Before I took the photo
to me I thought my artwork
was lame and boring.
hahahahahhaha
Guess I was wrong eh?

Still remember about my last post?
It's the same thing
only that it's done.

Although I received a lot of
compliments from my classmates
but Sir Kennedy said that
the method that I used
was wrong.

He said it was okay
only that the problem
was the hatching on the
poster colour,
which is sort of not allowed :P
He told me if I want
to make it look darker,
I should have used a darker tone,
which....I....forgot....harharhar...

+The Dining Table in My House+

ADA 101
Design Communication 1

So the whole day and night
I've been working on my assignment
based on 'Green World'
My idea of Green World
is the environment-friendly swimming pool
which looks like a fish-pond
at first glance.
The green technology swimming pool
uses gravel to be mixed with clay
as a concrete for the swimming pool.
The designer adds water crop
inside and outside of the pool
to filter water waste
and to make water rich in oxygen.
One even said "You can just drink the water
from that green technology swimming pool"
because they proclaimed that it's clean.

Here's a closer view of my assignment
It's not really finish yet actually XD
I still need to darken the lines
and do some hatching and stuff.

There's another method
besides using water crops.
Which is adding a pack of salt
into the swimming pool.
Salt will then be mixed with chlorine
(a typical swimming pool will usually have chlorine in it)
and it will become sodium-chloride (NaCl)
which kills bacteria developing
in the swimming pool.
Curiosity and anxiety has lead
people to think that this method
will make the swimming pool's water
taste like the ocean (salty).
However, the creator of this method
said that the answer is "No"
Adding "There's only a slight taste of salt
because there's roughly a teaspoon of salt
per gallon of water".
Besides that, sodium-chloride
is much gentler on the hair, skin and eyes
which makes swimming fun :D

If you've been wondering why
I'm using my dining table
instead of my own table in my room.
Well, it's because
the table in my room
is freaking SMALL!!!!
Not small,
just medium-small XD

17th of October, 2010 - Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Likas (SMK Likas)

I met Sir Ronnie today,
who was my Malay teacher,
when I was photostatting some
English level 2 notes in Likas :D
He simply just wore a white T-shirt
and a short pants to go along with it
while calling out my name
"Francess~" and gave a hand shake.
I was like "Sir Ronnie!!!"
At that very moment
I could feel that he wasn't used
to the term 'Sir' but just went along with it XD
It's just typical of me to call
any male teachers or lecturers
with the term 'Sir' in front.
I guess I'm used to it since secondary school.
hahahahahahaha

So, I was a former prefect
in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Likas
a.k.a. SMK Likas.
Most people mistaken me
of being a Convent student
or SMP Likas student
which is an all girl's school.
When I told them about my former school
they would be surprised XD

What I like about my former school
is the teachers :D
I reckon it's because I get along
with the teachers well.
Well, maybe not all of them
but still :3
My favourite teachers are my
Malay teacher, Sir Ronnie,
Math teacher, Sir Wong,
Physics teacher,
English teachers,
Biology teacher, Madam Anita,
and Chemistry teacher
Gomenasai my teachers
for not remembering your names DX
Oh! And also my Art teachers :D
hahahahaha XD

Yesh Yesh
I was in 5 Arif
which is a pure science stream class
and also the students are known
to be hated by the lower classes.
Yeaps~ everyone hated us
and even the teachers hated us
(well, not all I guess)
But I don't blame them,
it's our fault in the first place XD
what's more I was a prefect
so the number of people
hating me increased.
But I survived :D

hahaha I still can recall
the time when most of us
are the President of a club
Even my best friends
were the President of a club XD
hahahahaaha
Like I was the President of the English club
Rona was the President of the Design club
Iziana (obviously) was somewhat
the head of the school XD
Asnirah was also a President,
Halimatus as well,
and also Francesca,
and more XD

16th of October, 2010 - The Stones?

Remember about the last post
where I shared about rendering techniques?
and that we were told to do a sketch [assignment]
and use the technique?

Well here are the sketches :D
Although I just took a picture of it
but it has nice effects!
Tell me what you think XD

So during Design Communication 1 class
we were asked to practice first.
So this was the result
where I we were told to draw
on our A4 sketch book.

P.S.
we had to look for 2 stones
for our sketch XD

Then next I have to
draw the stones on an A2 cartridge paper
which is seriously like 4x larger than an A4
(OwO)

Here's a closer view

I'm still not satisfied
with the results
I think I'll make a few more adjustments
(since it took me hours to sketch the stones)

4th of October, 2010 - Angelique (Latest Coloured Drawing)

I call her Angelique
because...well...no reason actually
That was the first name that pop up
in my head during the colouring process.
So here it is...my lovely Angelique
October's latest coloured drawing

Here is the before and after
as you can see I edited
the eyes a little bit
and darken the lines of the eyes.
I referred to Kuran Kaname's eyes
from Vampire Knight
and tried to follow his eyes.
(since Angelique's eyes are kind of the same like Kaname's eyes)
I was having a hard time choosing
which type of shine for the hair
I thinking of zig-zags kind of shine
but when I did it, it looks horrible (@_@)
so then I tried the shine like the one
from Kaichou wa Maid Sama
and surprisingly it fits!
Then I darken the lines
of the whole sketch.
Then a little bit of edit
here and there
and tadaaa :D

but then because of college and my sickness

Today's English - Adjectives

So here I am
writing a post about adjectives.
Before I start, I would like to say
thank you for staying loyal with my blog :D
Or is it just me who thinks it that way (x__x)
By viewing the stats I could see
there's about 40-50 viewers everyday
and sometimes it could reach up to
100 viewers a day
At least it better than nothing eh?
Not bad...not bad indeed :3

So we're back to square one!
Or maybe not
Learning about grammar
No matter what
as long as it is an English Class
We will always learn about grammar.

So today I'll discuss about Adjectives
Adjectives is used to modify a noun or a pronoun.

For example: Farah is an intelligent girl.

'Farah' is a noun and 'intelligent' is an adjective
The word 'intelligent' describes Farah's personality.
However, adjective can be
a single word, a phrase, or a clause.
This is very important to remember.
'Farah is an intelligent girl'
is an example of a single word adjective
where 'intelligent' is only a single word.
What about a phrase of adjective?
Always remember that a phrase
is a group of words.
A phrase of adjectives is a group of adjectives.
Simple eh?

For example: Farah is a girl of great intelligence
(I hope I get it right)

When I read it again
it is as if I'm a guy who is in love with Farah (=_=)
Oh well...hahahaha..it's just an example.
So 'Farah' is still a noun and 'of great intelligence' is the adjective
Here, 'of great intelligence' is a phrase of adjectives.
To make it simpler, it is a technique
to make your adjective longer
and to write it in a more....poetic way
I guess :P

So what about a clause of adjective?
A clause of adjective is
Subject + Verb + Adjective

For example: Farah is a girl who is intelligent

'who is intelligent' is a clause of adjective
who = subject
is = verb
intelligent = adjective

Adjectives answer these questions:
What kind?
Which one(s)?
How many (or how much)?
Whose?

My mum was an English tuition teacher once
and I would always attend her class
because she force me to
because she said my English was very poor.
That was like when I was around
8-10 years old?
I remember doing some puzzles
and learning grammar,
tenses, and more.
But at that time
I wasn't really paying attention XD
hahahahhahaha
I score a 'B' for English in UPSR
But then as I got into secondary school
I tried to maintain an 'A' :D Yay!
And somehow I became
the President of the English Club in 2009
and I was active in English activities since
2007 - 2009
wow (O_O)

hahahahhahaha
Enough about me XD

24th of September, 2010 - English + Drawing ???

Sooo
First subject was
Reading, Vocabulary & Grammar 2
In short, English level 2.
It was Miss Freda's class
and when she came into the class
and starts speaking
I was like "Oh Thank You God"
because finally there's a qualified
English teacher to teach English in the college.
I'm not saying that other English teachers aren't qualified
I'm just saying that it's a relief to
actually hear a proper English lecture
rather than a Manglish lecture (Malay + English)

So we were told
to do some research about
part of speech
simple past tense
simple present tense
future tense
and make our own blog
but since I already have my own blog
so I don't need to worry! Hurray!
I know making a blog will be useful somehow!
muahahahahahahahhaha
but then now it means that
I'll have to blog everyday
(@_@) Oh my...I hope I'll be able to..
My college friends came to me
and said "Can you teach us how to make a blog?"
I was like "....huh?"
hahahahhahahaha
the earliest person to ask me was
Max Bewsher
an Architect student
We knew each other since primary school XD
At first I was wondering why he wanted me to help
After attending Miss Freda's class, only when I know why
Maybe I should make a blog tutorial eh?
hahaha we'll see

Next was Sir Kennedy's class
Design Communication 1
To put it in a simpler way,
Drawing/Sketching level 1.
He talked most of the time
and his stories were surprisingly interesting
I guess it's because it comes from his experience.
We were briefly told about the subject
and what we will be doing in the future.
So....he told us to get ready a set of pencils,
butter paper & drawing board.

It looks more like a toilet paper when you
look at my point of view hahahaha
I guess Chefs normally use this
for baking and stuff
..interesting..

When I came back home
I was like really exhausted
and I haven't take any rest until now
since I was busy washing the clothes
(because my dad went to China but he's coming back today)
doing some research for my assignments
and also updating my blog (@_@)
and and and discussing with my best friends
on this coming Sunday event
Yeap....Sunday....oh yeah..

I need to finish up my assignments
and the preparation for Sir Kennedy's class
fast or I'll be doomed

This is my second attempt!
It's a picture of Zero, Yuuki & Kaname together
Aren't they just adorable?

Okay here's the story
I woke up at about 5.30 in the morning.
I went to toilet and immediately
I switch on my laptop.
At that time I was having the mood
to colour something.
So I look through some black and white drawings
that I've saved in my laptop.
After seeing all of it,
I decided to pick this one!
(look below)

This is the original drawing
drawn by I don't even know who
I remember taking it from DeviantArt
but I forgot who draw it XD
this drawing originated from a short comic.
All I did was crop it (>w<) haha Then I used photoshop CS3 to colour it. It took me about 3-4 hours to finish the whole thing. But the thing is I enjoyed colouring it XD hahahahaha Thank You For Visiting!

Kuran Yuuki from Vampire Knight

This is my very first attempt
to actually colour a character
that is NOT of my own drawing
The results turn out
surprisingly good
don't you think?

This is the original drawing
that I took from the manga (VK)
I don't really remember exactly which chapter
but if I'm not mistaken
it's the time when Yuuki & Zero kills Rido.
When I saw this part,
I quickly save it into my laptop
and crop it to make it like this.
That was 2-3 days ago.
Then suddenly
I have somewhat a desire to colour it.
I couldn't resist so
I spend about 2-3 hours
to colour the whole thing plus the finishing touch.
I'm sorry if the background isn't nice
it's because I didn't really have any idea
on what to put in the background.
I just tried out random brushes
until it turned out like that (@_@)

:About:
Kuran Yuuki

In the beginning of the manga
Yuuki's name is actually Cross Yuuki
because she was the adopted child of Cross Kaien.
She's the prefect of Cross Academy
where her duty is to keep watch of
the Day Class students so that they don't get
too close to the Night Class students.
Yuuki's memories were kept hidden
and she could only remember from the day
where Kaname saved her from a Level E vampire.
As the story goes on during her daily routine
she builds up a curiosity regarding her past.
Forcing Kaname to spill the secret out
Yuuki was turned into a vampire by Kaname
and all her past memories came into her.
She was originally a pureblood vampire
whom was transform into a human
by her mother, Kuran Juuri.
Her father, Kuran Haruka,
died to protect her.
Same goes to her brother,
Kuran Kaname,
whom would do anything
to protect his beloved younger sister
from harm & evil.
Therefore, her real name is
Kuran Yuuki.
Yuuki (based on the manga)
means 'a little princess'
because to her family
Yuuki was seen as a little princess.
She's an innocent girl
whom has a large appetite
and also she is very generous.

:About:
Her Love Live
She has two person whom she loves.
Kuran Kaname and Kiryu Zero.
At first, you can see that
the person that she love the most
is Kuran Kaname
because he was the one
who saved Yuuki's life
and he was always by her side
to protect her and to accompany her.
He often visits Yuuki's house (Cross Kaien house)
to meet Yuuki (at that time she was still quite young).
Then Kiryu Zero showed up,
and here we can see that
Yuuki is starting to develop feelings for Zero.
As the story goes on
Yuuki's feelings for Zero grows and grows
more than her feelings towards Kaname.
But when her memories came back to her
and she was turned into a vampire,
her feelings for Kaname grows rapidly
but she still has feelings for Zero
because she couldn't forget about Zero
and that he has drank her blood.
However, she has chosen Kaname
over Zero because Kaname
was destined to be Yuuki's husband
(Incest Marriage)
in order to maintain the population
of the purebloods.
