In Japanese
Akuma means Satan
and in greek mythology
Eros is the God of Love.
So in other words,
Akuma no Eros means
Satan the God of Love
(I reckon)

This manga is about Satan,
the fallen angel, falling in love
with a human girl, Sakurai Miu,
who summoned him accidentally.
She unconsciously made a contract
with Satan to make her crush,
Amamiya Shion, love her
and in return, Miu has
to give up her virginity
to Satan.


The author of this Manga,
Shinjo Mayu, shows the battle
between Satan and St. Michael
where both of them love
Sakurai Miu with all their heart.

At first, Satan's plan
was to take away Miu's soul
to hell after the contract.
But as time pass,
his views changed.

Yes Akuma managed
to make Amamiya fall deeply
in love with Miu
but Akuma didn't plan to give
her heart to Amamiya.

It's a really nice manga
and it makes me think
where the author get the
story from because
it's almost like
it's the same story
from the greek mythology
....I forgot his name...
But I know he's Zeus
brother whom was
to rule the underworld.

4th of November, 2010 - HAPCHO Gathering + Birthday Celebration

+Best Photo Of The Day+
I didn't really know
what I was cosplaying as
but I just went with gothic XD

A lot of things happened on this day
and I mean A LOT

In the afternoon,
I was late to the HAPCHO gathering
(it's a cosplay group in my town)
because the petrol was dying
and I had to go to the petrol station
to fill in some.
Unconsciously,
I locked my car
WITH MY CAR KEY INSIDE!!!!
I was like "OH MA GAWD!!!"
and I tried calming down
and tried to figure out a way
to solve the problem.
Later then a guy went up to me
and said "Lock ka?"
and I nodded my head
and he tried unlocking my car
with this ruler-kind-of-thing
and tadaa! it was unlocked :D
I filled in the petrol
and said my thanks to the guy
and drove in high speed
to the gathering.
At that time I was already
1 hour late with the traffic jam
going on.

However, I still made it
to the gathering safe :D

It was my first time going to
the gathering actually XD
and it was my first time
wearing A LOT of makeup.
It was fun going :D

After the gathering,
I had to rush home
to go to my sweetheart's younger brother
and my sweetheart's dad's
birthday celebration
at their house.

I really enjoyed my time
during the celebration
because I get to meet with everyone
after a long time not meeting them
(my sweetheart's family and my best friends)

Visual Communication in Design

Today's class we learned
about Typography & Layout
which is on Chapter 4
of this subject.

Designed Typography
is a combination of
font, size, spacing and colour
to create or form a new design
of typography.

Whereas,

Typography
is the art & technique of arranging types,
type designs, and modifying type glyphs.

Arranging type involves:
Changing point size, leading, width,
letter-spacing and kerning

Type Design
is the art of designing Typefaces

Typefaces
are a created set of characters of
a single size and style
such as Verdana, Arial and Bodoni.

Fonts
are specific style and sized of a typeface

EXAMPLE:
Myriad Pro - a typeface
Myriad Pro Semibold Italic 24 pts - a font

because it specifies the size and styling of that particular typeface

there are a lot of terms
given to us and it is no wonder
my mind was blank when
I was recalling the lesson before
hahahahahaha

But guess what,
the interesting part is the
Character Anatomy!

Pencil:
I'm sorry

Eraser:
For what?
You didn't do anything wrong.

Pencil:
I'm sorry because you get hurt because of me.
Whenever I made a mistake,
you're always there to erase it.
But as you make my mistakes vanish,
you lose a part of yourself.
You get smaller and smaller each time.

Eraser:
That's true.
But I don't really mind.
You see, I was made to do this.
I was made to help you
whenever you do something wrong.
Even though one day, I know
I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one,
I'm actually happy with my job.
So please, stop worrying.
I hate seeing you sad. :)

I found this conversation between
the pencil and the eraser very inspirational.
Parents are like the eraser
whereas their children are the pencil.
They're always there for their children,
cleaning up their mistakes.
Sometimes along the way...
they get hurt, and become smaller
(older, and eventually pass on).
Though their children will eventually
find someone new (spouse),
but parents are still happy
with what they do for their children,
and will always hate seeing
their precious ones worrying, or sad.

2nd of November, 2010 - Today + Design Transformation Assignment

I was suppose to have
English (Level 2) class
today but unfortunately
we were informed that
Miss Freda is sick.
Get well soon :3

I didn't really have the mood to
go back home early, so I stayed
for a while and talked to Charm
and met a new friend named Bernard
we all have the same interest which
is anime and so I called a friend of mine
which is Kuzaimi who is also into anime.
We talked and talked and also drew :D

I'm really sorry for the bad quality
but I'm really lazy to scan
especially when my brother told
me to 'explore' and figure out
how to use the scanner on my own.
I'm not in the mood to get my hands dirty

before dinner time :3

I was practicing on the
S & M look and facial expression
and at first it was only the girl
but then I thought maybe she
deserves a guy beside her XD
hahahahahhaha

Moving to my next topic
which is my design transformation
assignment.

Before I present my outcomes.
Design Transformation
is about Design Development
and Design Development is about
Design Process.
Design Process is a systematic
problem solving strategy, with
criteria and constraints, used to
develop many possible
solutions to solve a problem
or satisfy the human needs
and wants and also to narrow down
the possible solutions to one.
+This is based on the notes given to me+
+From Visual Communication in Design+

However,
Design Transformation can also
be said to transform an object
to create or modify a design.
Such as a snail's shell
into a building
or a bamboo into a mug.

For my assignment,
I choose a jellyfish as my object

I haven't work on the final one
because I just had to rest
and the sun was shining directly
towards my eyes.

1st of November, 2010 - How To Draw Water & It's Reflection

ADA 101
Design Communication I

First of all
IT'S NOVEMBER!!!!!
Another month and 29 days
and it will be 2011!
...Wow...

Anyhow
I know most people
find it difficult to draw or sketch
water and reflections
including me as well.

The last 2 weeks
we were taught on how
to draw water & reflections

I didn't really get it at first
but I tried to understand
by looking at the pictures given

As what is shown above
when drawing a view
the water seems to be reflecting
anything above the eye level

Although we can indicate that
the eye level is the straight line
that we see on the photo
but actually it's NOT
The eye level is slightly
above the 'line'
which is why there's a missing
hill on the water's reflection
in the 1st photo.

Same goes to
when you're sketching a
short-distance view

You can see the reflections on the water
in these artworks.

:IMPORTANT:
However, do remember that
the water has to be drawn
flat and still when it
comes to drawing reflections.

I haven't really tried to apply
this technique in my drawings yet.
If I do, I'll surely show it in my blog.

and those who are going to take this subject
this is a good place for you to

before taking the subject.
